Sad to think of the old "Love ship" & it's equipment that you can see in the pictures below, under the sea & sand - & has been for 37 years now. She sunk on March 20th 1980.
The Previous Easter Sunday, April 19th 1979, Caroline had returned to the air, following an absence since Oct, bought about by Radio Mi Amigo departing & some technical problems - during that winter, the ship nearly sunk - saved again! by Chicago & many others.
 What followed, was a year of struggles to keep the ship supplied & more - but she very nearly made it to another Easter - it was on April 6th 1980, but March 20th - sadly came first.......
