Brockhampton court visit Dec 2016 (Garlands war) Having visited, I would speculate that the interior of Brockhampton
was actually used during the creation of Garland's war. Probably using one of the very small Quad 2inch recorders that
existed then, that could be fitted in a small vehicle. The single track lanes there, would have been too much of
a challenge for the big scanner van, used at Hampton Ct. The detail of the interior is accurate to how it was then &
far too detailed to be a studio creation in my opinion. This episode was the last first season one, that also used
16mm film. The part where Greg & Jenny are in a tent (Also straight to video) was filmed at Hampton court rear, the only
studio created section in the episode, is the Land rover with it's flat tyre. This was also at the point where in
the TV series story, the events depart vastly from Terry Nation's original novel.
Brockhampton,
is a beautiful spot to spend one's twilight years..........
